GM Notes

+++Pathfinder 2nd Edition Conversion Notes (SPOILERS BELOW):

So this is the start of many antagonistic NPCs having to be made whole cloth with the NPC creation rules. But for as iconic a villain as Isabella Locke I wanted to make the challenge legendary, so I built her like an equivalent level 6 Sorceress. I tried to keep her spell list as close to the original character in the PF1E rules set, but upgraded her lineage to be that of a Water Elemental, something to tie her even more so to the magical seas.

Isabella is a named PC in Casius’s backstory, so I needed this fight to be personal and interesting. As you will find out she wasn’t killed this combat, but taken alive, so the time spent building her as a PC was not wasted!
