On this week’s episode we are joined by none other than Paizo’s Starfinder Developer, and accomplished Pathfinder author Jason Keeley as he lends his voice and time to bring to life one of the most amazing pirate NPCs in this entire adventure path! Though this episode is not all fun and games, as behind all this Mr. Plugg is plotting an incident with far reaching consequences!
GM Notes
Pathfinder 2nd Edition Conversion Notes (SPOILERS BELOW):
So this week’s episode is a much easier conversion, as the pirate games were mostly unchanged from the version in the first edition AP volume. I altered them somewhat to reflect their second edition variants like taking damage from alcohol poisoning and changing things on the fly to account for skills like intimidation.
The combat this episode should be scary, but because it is designed to be asymmetric (with two on one in the bilges) I didn’t want to change it too much from what we have seen. Hanto has taken care of an antagonistic pirate NPC with a single crit so I figured the big Iruxi could handle two. Thankfully my intuition was correct!
